Cheikh Hassan Cisse Leadership Academy is a dedicated non-profit organization focused on empowering individuals and families by expanding access to quality education and essential healthcare services. We strive to uplift communities by fostering knowledge, health, and leadership.

OUR PROGRAMS

HEALTHCARE ACCESS

We collaborate with healthcare providers across the United States to gather essential medical equipment for donation to healthcare facilities in Senegal. Our mission is to enhance the quality of care available in underserved communities by providing them with the necessary tools and resources. Together, we can make a significant impact on global health and improve lives. Join us in this vital effort to support those in need.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

We engage with local communities to develop programs that promote health, education, and leadership skills. Our efforts aim to build resilient communities that can thrive independently.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING

We focus on developing strong leadership skills among youth and adults alike, empowering them to take charge of their futures and positively influence their communities.

DIGITAL LITERACY

We collect and donate refurbished computers from U.S. schools and IT companies to create modern, well-equipped learning environments in Senegal. We encourage creativity and innovation in learning, expand access to new educational opportunities and open the door to STEM education, coding programs, and digital literacy. When a U.S. school donates a computer, they are not just giving hardware — they are giving: a future engineer her first chance to learn programming, a young writer the ability to publish his thoughts, and science class the opportunity to explore virtual labs.

Our work transforms learning environments by creating modern, well-equipped classrooms that support interactive instruction and student engagement. As a result, teachers are better able to integrate technology into their lessons, students develop critical digital literacy skills, and schools gain new opportunities for creativity, collaboration, and innovation. Collectively, these efforts strengthen educational outcomes, expand future opportunities for students, and contribute to long-term community development.

Through strategic partnerships with schools and healthcare institutions in the United States, we collect gently used educational and medical equipment and ship them to Senegal. These resources help strengthen classrooms and healthcare facilities, benefiting thousands of students and patients while promoting sustainability through the reuse of valuable materials.

HOW TO SUPPORT

The organization offers a free and hassle-free technology donation process, accepting items such as laptops, desktops, Chromebooks, phones, tablets, copiers, and projectors. Monetary donations are also welcomed to help cover shipping and handling costs. All contributions are tax-deductible, and donors receive an official receipt and recognition. Free pickup is available for large donations, while smaller items can be mailed to the organization
